Club Code of Conduct
At ʻOhana United FC, we believe soccer is about more than winning games. We are committed to developing strong, confident, and resilient kaikamahine through competitive soccer, positive mentorship, and true ʻohana culture. We compete with discipline, integrity, respect, teamwork, and joy while proudly representing our Puna community with aloha.
As members of ʻOhana United FC, players and their families agree to:
Treat coaches, referees, volunteers, players, families, and opponents with respect, sportsmanship, and aloha.
Support our player's commitment to the team by prioritizing attendance at practices and games and communicating absences in advance.
Maintain active participation in the team communication app, including staying up to date on messages, schedules, and announcements.
Encourage positive behavior, good academic standing, teamwork, discipline, effort, and respect for coaches and teammates.
Address concerns directly and respectfully with the Club President and respect club decisions regarding membership, roster placement, playing time, scheduling, coaching strategy, and club operations.
Ensure that all family members and guests attending club events represent ʻOhana United FC with positivity and respect.
Refrain from coaching from the sidelines or confronting referees, opposing players, opposing families, or club staff during games, practices, or club events.
Refrain from negative gossip, bullying, or disrespectful comments about players, families, coaches, referees, or the club, whether in person, online, or through social media.
Accept responsibility for replacing any lost or damaged club-issued uniforms or equipment.
ʻOhana United FC is a private club committed to maintaining a positive, supportive, and competitive environment. Failure by a player, parent, family member, or guest to follow this Code of Conduct may result in disciplinary action, including suspension or dismissal from the club. Registration fees and other payments are non-refundable in the event of dismissal.
